Ukraine's Land Forces Commander says AFU to stabilise the frontline situation shortly

AFU

According to Lt Gen Oleksandr Pavliuk, the AFU Land Forces Commander, the situation at the front remains difficult but under control.

What is known about the AFU plans to stabilise the front line shortly

Pavlyuk noted that the Ukrainian military plans to conduct several counterattacks this year to stabilise the front line.

According to him, the Russian occupiers are currently making maximum efforts to occupy Ukrainian territories on the eve of the Russian presidential elections.

Pavlyuk emphasised that, according to the conversations of Russian war criminals intercepted by intelligence, the enemy attacked even those who were mobilised a few weeks ago without adequate preparation.

Everything is done in order to seize the initiative. Our task is to stabilise the front line, destroy the enemy as much as possible, regroup as much as possible to withdraw units that need to be restored, create a strike group and carry out counterattacks this year. We can do it. The situation is stabilising, said the AFU Land Forces Commander.

What is known about the hottest areas of the front

He emphasised that there are currently several hot areas of the front, particularly in the regions of Avdiivka and Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region and near Terny and Lyman.

Pavliuk noted that heavy battles are occurring in these areas, but the Ukrainian military confidently holds its defence and inflicts numerous losses on the Russian invaders.

I think that we will stabilise the situation in the near future and do everything so that the troops take active action and seize the initiative, — emphasised the Lt Gen Pavliuk.
