After the destruction on the morning of February 14 of the large landing ship of the Russians "Caesar Kunikov", the Russian occupiers were left with five similar ships.

The Navy commented on the large Russian landing ship "Caesar Kunikov" destruction

Ukraine's Navy spokesman, Dmytro Pletenchuk, said on telethon air that after the destruction of the large Russian landing ship "Caesar Kunikov" on the morning of February 14, the occupiers had five similar vessels left.

During the full-scale war, the Armed Forces destroyed four such large landing ships (LLS), including "Saratov", "Novocherkassk" and "Minsk".

According to the spokesman, four more LLSs are being repaired.

On Radio Svoboda, Pletenchuk commented on the destruction of the ship, quoting Putin's words about the submarine "Kursk", which sank with 118 crew members in 2000 in the Barents Sea.

As the president of the Russian Federation once said, "It drowned." In principle, we can use his words to comment on the situation with the large Russian amphibious assault ship Caesar Kunikov. Colleagues from the DIU once again worked on another redundant object in the Black Sea.

The spokesman also commented on the destruction of the ship on the day of the death of the Soviet officer Caesar Kunikov, in whose honour the ship was named.

Maybe it's bad luck, not every Caesar manages to die twice in one day, Pletenchuk said.
