AFU destroyed the Starlink terminal of the Russians with the help of a drone

The defenders from the 71st AFU separate Jaeger Brigade destroyed the Starlink satellite communication terminal of the Russian occupiers with the help of a drone.

The stolen or smuggled modem was spotted by the operators of reconnaissance UAVs of the 71st Jaeger Brigade, the report says.

The military notes that FPV drones "did not tolerate indignities and firmly stood guard over international law and the business reputation of a respectable company."

In short, the occupiers do not have Starlink. At least, within the reach of the fighters of our brigade, — stated the paratroopers.

What is known about Starlink's appearance in Russia at the front

The fact that Russia uses SpaceX's Starlink satellite devices on the front in Ukraine first became known from the media.

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) later confirmed this fact by publishing an intercepted conversation of the occupiers, confirming the use of Starlink.

Later, the spies also found out that the occupiers are buying Starlink in Arab countries, and the cost of one terminal is 200,000 rubles.

Before that, the owner of the SpaceX company, Elon Musk, said that the devices were not sold to Russia. Currently, the Armed Forces are working on neutralizing the Starlink threat at the front.
