Russia used North Korean missiles against Ukraine

Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin said on "Suspilne. Sprovyv" air that joint systematic work of prosecutors, investigators and experts is needed to confirm the data on the weapons origin used to attack Ukraine.

As for North Korea, the other day we received the first evidence of the Russian army's use of missiles manufactured in this country. The results of the preliminary scientific and technical examination confirm that the missile launched on January 2 over the central part of Kharkiv is a short-range missile developed by North Korea.

Kostin added that the same conclusions were reached by military experts from the Prosecutor General's Office interdepartmental working group.

They were also at the hit site and did a preliminary inspection and analysis of the missile parts. A comprehensive commission examination is currently underway, which should finally confirm this fact.

We are also working on identifying other ammunition wreckage that were found at the sites of recent attacks in Kharkiv and Odesa regions, Kostin said.
