Russia attacked Ukraine with 31 attack UAVs of the "Shahed-136/131" type. Ukrainian air defense destroyed 23 of them over two regions.
Drone attack on February 10
The Air Force reports that Russian forces have launched drones from Balaklava and Cape Chauda in Crimea and the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
The main directions of the attack were Odesa and Kharkiv regions.
Units of the anti-aircraft missile forces, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine, and means of radio-electronic warfare were involved in repelling the air attack.
As a result of combat work, 23 "shaheds" were destroyed within the Odesa and Kharkiv regions.
Consequences of a drone attack
In the Odesa region, 4 people were injured as a result of a night enemy attack by drones.
All 9 "shaheds" destroyed the air defense units, but the wreckage of one of the downed UAVs damaged the technical structure of the port infrastructure of Odessa.
The enemy also attacked the port infrastructure of the Danube. Air defense forces destroyed 12 drones.
The Russian Federation struck the civil infrastructure of Izmail: the technical premises of industrial and service facilities were mutilated, the road surface, trucks and cars were damaged, windows were broken in several residential buildings, facades and roofs were broken.
A fire broke out in a private house and a garage in the territory of the Izmail district due to the falling debris of a downed drone.
Drones attacked civilian infrastructure in Kharkiv. The emergency services managed to contain the fire in a residential area, saving 25 houses from the spread of the fire.
In one of the private residential buildings, the entire family of 5 people died as a result of the fire: a husband and wife and their three children: a seven-year-old, a four-year-old, and seven-month-old boys.
A 66-year-old man and his 65-year-old wife died in another house.
