According to Forbes, after the Ukrainian Armed Forces captured the bridgehead in the village of Krynky on the left bank of the Dnipro River, the Ukrainian marines — mainly the 35th Marine Brigade — are not only holding their positions but are also slowly advancing toward the nearby settlement of Kozachi Lageri.

What is happening near Krynky?

As the journalists managed to find out, on the occupied shore of Kherson Oblast, battles continue for literally every house and street.

Ukrainian soldiers managed to achieve the greatest success in and around Krynky immediately after eliminating the operators of enemy UAVs.

Bomber drones of our group not only bomb at night... but also, even for the most part, provide logistical support: they drop ammunition, food and water, medical supplies, etc., — said the Ukrainian drone operator with the call sign "Kriegsforscher"[literary means "War Researcher" in German — Ed.].

Forbes points out that technology is a critical factor in this war.

In the autumn of 2023, Ukrainian EW, equipped with powerful radio jamming equipment, prepared the battlefield in Krynky.

It is essential to understand that this happened a few weeks before the first marines crossed the Dnipro.

The problem with the Russian invaders is that their jammers don't work that well. This gives the soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces a new advantage.

At night, Ukrainian "Baba Yaga" drones bomb Russian assembly points and sow roads with mines, and during the day, our UAVs are the first to react when the enemy attempts to storm the positions.

The Russian army suffers severe losses on the Dnipro's left bank

During the last few weeks, the Armed Forces managed to destroy 222 units of Russian equipment near Krynyk.

Journalists noted the rapidly growing number of 60-year-old T-62 tanks on the battlefield, which the Kremlin pulled out of long-term storage to replace some of the destroyed weapons.

The Armed Forces mainly fight with infantry and lost only 47 units of equipment in the area of this settlement. The defence forces use their howitzers more often from the right bank of the Dnipro River.

As the publication notes, the Russian military propagandist blogger "Romanov" recently stated that the Ukrainian marines advanced a short distance towards the Kozachi Lageri.

There is no front line with stable defense, the propagandist complained.
