The United24 fundraising platform has published a video Christmas greeting from the Ukrainian military. In four legendary songs, they reminded the world that the war in Ukraine is still ongoing.

Xmas songs covers from the Ukrainian military

In each song, several words were changed to remind the world of the war in Ukraine. For example, in John Lennon's song, instead of "war is over", the lyrics read "war is not over".

The video features servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Remez, Inna Korolenko, Dmytro Romanchuk, Artur Temchenko, Mykhailo Oliynyk, Dmytro Dudko, Svitlana Cherednichenko, Viktoria Chudakovska, Iryna Kosovska and a paramedic of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army Mykhailo Adamchak.

The video was filmed in a dugout in the direction of Bakhmut, against the backdrop of civilian objects destroyed by the Russian occupiers — a cultural centre and railway station in Lyman, a school and a petrol station in Kostiantynivka, 15 km from the front line, United24 reports.
