Fraudsters who demand money from Ukrainians under the guise of helping families of captured or missing soldiers have become active again in the network.
Fraudsters demand funds under the guise of helping families
As the KSHPPV notes, criminals create fake pages in social networks, where under fictitious names they spread reviews of "gratitude" for the allegedly provided help in finding and returning Ukrainian defenders from captivity.
In particular, the press service calls on relatives and close people of missing or captured servicemen not to contact unknown persons who offer to return a captured serviceman for a monetary reward. In addition to funds, criminals will also receive and the enemy will receive the information provided.
For consultation, it is necessary to contact the "hotline" of the Coordination Headquarters at the number: 0800300529, or use road map.
Treatment of Ukrainian prisoners of war
Russia is detaining more than 3,000 Ukrainian military personnel and about 28,000 civilians, the Office of the Ukrainian Ombudsman and the Ministry of Reintegration reported. However, the actual number may be higher.
It is not known how many Russians Ukraine is holding. However, there are so many of them that a second camp had to be built to house them. Russians are also held in a special reception center in the West of Ukraine and placed in cells of a pre-trial detention center.
More than 90% of the prisoners of war who were interviewed after returning from Russian captivity say that they were subjected to torture, deprived of adequate food and sleep.
People are forced to burn their tattoos or consume only Russian propaganda. They are not allowed to communicate with relatives.
