Zelenskyy announces cashback programme for buying of domestic-made goods

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukrainians will be able to receive compensation for part of the payment for goods and services produced in Ukraine. This will take place within the framework of the new state cashback program "Buy Ukrainian".

Cashback for the purchase of Ukrainian goods

Zelenskyy's statement was made at the presentation of the "Made in Ukraine" platform.

For the purchase of certain types of goods and services made in Ukraine, citizens of Ukraine can receive a refund of part of the funds on a particular card.

He specified that he had given the government a corresponding order — this program is being developed.

According to Zelenskyy, the task of this program is "to ensure that Ukrainian money stays in Ukraine and works in Ukraine."

These are taxes, these are the salaries of our soldiers, these are the capabilities of our state, including defense. The parameters of the Ukrainian cashback are already being prepared: financial and technical, the president noted.

He added that trying to make the cashback program work already this year is necessary.

"Made in Ukraine" platform

Zelenskyy said the new "Made in Ukraine" platform should become a platform for constant direct dialogue between the state and entrepreneurs.

According to the president, work is currently underway on other state programs that will enable the domestic manufacturer to scale up its work.

These are state grants, loans, stimulation of production, demand through Ukrainian cashback, assistance in foreign markets, the president explained.
