The MOD chief Rustem Umierov emphasized that despite the large amount of circulating information regarding the resignation of the AFU Commander-in-Chief, General Valerii Zaluzhny, in reality, such a decision is not being considered.

Why is information about Zaluzhnyi's resignation actively spreading

There are always changes in the military composition — that is, rotations, changes, sometimes regeneration, someone is transferred to the reserves. In the military leadership, there are always transitional things that happened to me, and with which I am very open to society and to my colleagues. In this regard, the question does not arise. I know, it is promoted both externally and internally. We were together with the Central Committee today, we greeted the commander of the Ground Forces, Umierov noted.

He also added that in the event of a similar issue, the Ukrainian society will be promptly informed about it.

If there are such questions, I will let you know. There are no such urgent issues. There were transitions with some commanders. I always ask Valeryi Fedorovych, if these transitional questions regarding some people were, what are the recommendations, who can we (appoint). As you know, we can rotate or transfer to individual positions. Therefore, in this regard, firstly, there are no such issues as the Russians or our enemies want to raise. If they are, I will come out with this question and tell you about it, Umierov emphasized.

Who spreads information about Zaluzhnyi's resignation

On November 7, MP from "European Solidarity" Volodymyr Ariev, referring to a "reliable source", spread the information that Umierov allegedly submitted a "submission to the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief" for the resignment of Zaluzhnyi. Russian channels picked up his post.

Ariev later said he was removing the previous post, citing "many other sources" refuting the claims of another "source."

Subsequently, the OP chairman’s adviser, Serhiy Leshchenko, called Ariev's accusation of Zaluzhnyi's resignation "an example of Poroshenko's party conducting an information war against its state."

No one contributed anything, except for pouring lies into the mouths of Poroshenko's ally. But the "porohobot" MP is not just lying, he is deliberately manipulating, saying that the submission was submitted to a bank that is not authorized to consider it at all. And when this fake dies its death again, the scumbags will lie that they saved Zaluzhnyi with their information sabotage, the OP representative noted.
