Unknown drones attack three Russian regions at night — video

On the night of January 21, three regions of Russia reported an attack by unknown drones. Ukraine is accused of the attack.

Explosions in three regions of the Russian Federation

In Tula at night, the Russians reported powerful explosions. According to local Telegram channels, air defense was working.

The probable target of the attack could be "Shcheglovsky Val" in the city of Tula. Anti-aircraft missile complexes "Pantsir-S" and "Pantsir-S1" are assembled in the plant's workshops, as well as various armored vehicles are modernized.

Note that the city is more than 300 km from the border with Ukraine.

The Russian Ministry of Defense has traditionally reported that air defense equipment shot down one drone over the Oryol region.

Explosions were also heard in the Smolensk region of the Russian Federation. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation traditionally reports on the work of air defense systems and the shooting down of drones.

Explosions in the Leningrad region

At the same time, on the night of January 21, a terminal of the Russian gas company Novatek caught fire in the port of Ust-Luga, Leningrad region.

All port personnel were evacuated. The governor of the region, Drozdenko, said that a high alert regime was introduced in the Kingisepp district, and the head of the district leads a meeting of the operational headquarters.

He did not specify the cause of the fire in the port.

It should be noted that "Novatek" is the largest independent producer of natural gas in Russia.
