As American analysts warn, the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, wants to present the large-scale NATO Steadfast Defender 2024 exercises in the information space as a provocation.

Putin has prepared a new plan against NATO countries

According to the Institute for the Study of War, the aggressor country has already launched an information operation to present NATO's Steadfast Defender 2024 defense exercises as provocative.

What is important to understand is that the Steadfast Defender Alliance 2024 training starts this week and will continue until May 2024.

Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) responded to the initial announcement of the Steadfast Defender exercise in September 2023 and falsely claimed that NATO exercises were increasingly provocative and aggressive in nature. The Russian Foreign Ministry claimed that NATO continues its "show of force" at "Russia's doorstep."

Official Moscow continues to lie about the fact that Vladimir Putin's team allegedly constantly proposed de-escalation initiatives to the Alliance, called on the bloc to abandon provocative actions and moved Russian military exercises deep into the country.

The authorities of the Russian Federation are also actively spreading fakes that NATO uses exercises to "wind up" and incite the Baltic countries to prepare for war with Russia and characterized such exercises as "a series of provocations".

NATO is already being urged to prepare for an all-out war with Russia

As the head of NATO's military committee, Rob Bauer, said on January 19, the civilian population in the West should start preparing for "total war" with the Russian Federation.

We must realize that peace is not a given, that we live in peace. And that is why we (NATO forces) are preparing for a conflict with Russia. …But the discussion is much broader. It is also about the industrial base and about people who must understand that they play a certain role, — emphasized the top head of the bloc.

In addition, he publicly praised Sweden, which a month ago urged its population to prepare for the invasion of the Russian Federation.
