Recently, air raid alerts on the territory of Ukraine have become longer during the take-offs of the Russian army's MIGs due to their prolonged stay in the air.

What is known about the increase in the duration of air raid alerts in Ukraine

According to Yuriy Ignat, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Forces Command, the Russian Occupation Forces are changing the tactics of missile and drone attacks on the territory of Ukraine and are preparing new waves of massive attacks.

The aircraft took off from Savasleyka and is now returning in this direction. We have new realities, and they have started doing things like refuelling. This time there were two in the air," Ihnat explains.

He urged Ukrainians not to leave the shelters until the air raid warning went off.

An air raid alarm was raised in Ukraine today because of the take-off of a MiG-31K from the Savasleyka airfield.

During its flight, the occupiers practised refuelling in the air using an Il-78. The alert lasted from 14.30 to 17.30 - about three hours.

When flying with refuelling, the MiG-31K can stay in the air for up to 5 hours.

What is known about countering enemy UAVs attacks

The Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk released a video of Ukrainian air defence units repelling the UAV attacks of the Russian occupation army last night.

Each destroyed air target, whether it is an strike drone or a cruise missile, is not easy for the defenders of the sky. But each destroyed target means saved lives of Ukrainians, saved property and infrastructure of the country," the Air Force commander said in a statement.

Oleshchuk expressed his gratitude to all who defend the Ukrainian sky. He also showed a video of an anti-aircraft battle on the night of 14 November.
