I would like to argue with all the critics of this airplane issue. Airplanes will change the course of the war and they will change it very seriously. The question is that these planes do not have tactical and technical characteristics significantly weaker than the Russian ones, Ignat emphasized.
According to him, our country needs modern aircraft to gain air superiority.
And a number of other factors that a multi-purpose aircraft has. That is, the F-16. Certain modifications. Which can strike ground targets, surface targets and air targets and protect the state internally from missiles and drones, the spokesman explained.
He also noted that with the help of aircraft complexes, such as the F-16, the Ukrainian Air Force could drive the Russian aircraft away and cover our ground forces from the air.
What is known about the F-16 for Ukraine
Several allies of Ukraine have agreed to provide our country with F-16 fighter jets. For example, the United States of America has already started pilot training on American fighter jets.
In particular, on November 7, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed information that Dutch F-16s had arrived in Romania to train Ukrainians.
In addition, Bucharest opened the European Training Center at the Fetesti Air Force Base. However, as of November 13, the training has not yet begun.
