In the past two weeks, the Armed Forces of Ukraine has eliminated more than 4,000 soldiers of Russian occupation army in the Bakhmut and Kupyansk axis.

What is known about the enormous losses of the Russian occupation army in the Bakhmut and Kupyansk axis

According to Oleksandr Syrskyi, the commander of operational-strategic group “Khortytsia”, the enemy continues unsuccessful offensive attempts in several frontline areas in eastern Ukraine.

The enemy does not abandon its plans and continues offensive actions simultaneously on several eastern directions. In particular, despite heavy losses, the Russians are attacking our units that are holding the defence positions in the Kupyansk axis, - says Sirskyi's .

The command emphasised that the enemy has begun to use UAVs more often to attack the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The commander of operational-strategic group “Khortytsia” also noted that to the north and south of Bakhmut, the occupiers are trying to seize the initiative from the Armed Forces of Ukraine by increasing the number of their own counterattacks.

Syrsky noted that thanks to the heroic resistance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine all the plans of the occupiers will suffer a crushing defeat.

He emphasized that the enemy is losing its offensive capabilities every day.

In two weeks, the Russian occupying forces lost more than 4,000 people in the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic group “Khortytsia”.

More than 500 pieces of enemy military equipment have been destroyed or damaged.

The Office of the President of Ukraine told how to defeat the occupation forces of the Russian Federation

According to Mykhailo Podolyak, Advisor to the Head of the OPU, the criminal army of the Russian Federation is hopelessly stuck in the war it is waging against Ukraine, but Western partners must do two things to defeat the Russian occupiers.

The Russian Federation is mired in heavy fighting and is not advancing. And it will not advance. The reputation of the Russian army and military-industrial complex is extremely unpresentable. It is disgusting," the OPU representative said.

According to him, Russia is forced to openly put the country on a military footing, unconditionally mobilise poor citizens from the poorest regions and prisons, and search for ammunition everywhere and from everyone.

And all this in order to survive in Ukraine. The Russian Federation no longer looks like yesterday's "influential global player" that can and should write the world's rules. "The Russian Federation, trying to keep from internal disintegration, hysterically rejects the modern way of life, technological progress and social evolution and is rapidly returning to the medieval past: camps, total prohibitions and restrictions, mass arrests," the OPU representative said.

He added that this is the current situation.

Of course it does not mean that everything is over. It does not mean that it will be easier. And this does not mean that there are no more risks. It will be hard, brutal, bloody, depressing. But let me repeat the main point: The Russian Federation is firmly entrenched in Ukraine and is not thinking about mythical advancement, seizure of other territories or humiliation of other states, but about how to defend itself. How to preserve itself. Not to lose. Not to run away," the OP representative admits.

He noted that in order for Russia to definitely lose, Ukraine's international partners must accept two things.

First: Russia can and must lose. Again: they must be defeated. This is important for all of us. Secondly, we need weapons - new technologies, quantity and timeliness of supply - matter. And this is the only right decision on how we can win the war," the OPU spokesman highlighted.
