December 6 is the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It has always been marked by pride, but in the last two years it has taken on a special meaning. Our defenders are heroes who defended the Motherland.

The December 6 is the DaY of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The online.ua team congratulates all the brave defenders who firmly stand for the defense of their native Ukraine from the occupation! Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine! Glory to Ukraine!

On December 6, 1991, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the law "On the Armed Forces of Ukraine", "On the Defense of Ukraine", and on December 13 — the Concept of Defense and Construction of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which determined the main principles and directions of the development of the Ukrainian army.

Greetings from the Ukrainian military

Military commanders also joined in congratulating the defenders.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, said he is proud of everyone today in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

I bow my head before your feat! In front of every soldier, sergeant and officer. Especially in front of those who today, in the heat of battle and under fire, in cold, frozen trenches and ruins, firmly hold the defense and destroy the insidious enemy.

Defense Minister Rustem Umierov noted that each of our trenches and landings rests on the shoulders of the military.

Your rallying cry "This is our landing!" children are already shouting when they play in the yards. It is an honor for me to be with you side by side in these defining days for Ukraine! The team of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine works 24/7 to achieve our Victory.
