President Volodymyr Zelenskyy promised to present a comprehensive plan for conscription in Ukraine next week against the background of the continuation of the criminal war unleashed by Russia.
What is known about changes in the mobilization process in Ukraine
The head of state noted that the issue of mobilization currently remains complicated and urgent.
The President emphasized that in a broad sense, we are talking about TRC [Territorial Recruiting Center], MMC [Mliltary Medical Commission - Ed.], demobilization and conscription.
He said he listened to a comprehensive report on existing problems and challenges today, solving urgent issues and making the necessary legislative changes.
There are some decisions that we decided immediately, I will tell you honestly. But I would like people to understand the whole plan of action — where we are going with this, what the challenges are, for people to see. it is very important to know how to get from point "A" to point "B" in case of conscription. So that it doesn't happen that we only understand from point "A" and understand where we came from. We need to know where we should come, when, with what forces. Therefore, a comprehensive plan on this issue will be made next week, Zelenskyy noted.
He emphasized that the relevant tasks were given to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Valerii Zaluzhnyy, the head of the Ministry of Defense, Rustem Umierov, and Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
They will comprehensively report on everything next week, Zelenskyy emphasized.
