Zelenskyy appointed the heads of the Donetsk and Rivne Regional State Administrations

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed decrees appointing Vadym Filashkin as the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Oleksandr Koval as the head of the Rivne Regional State Administration.

New heads of the Donetsk and Rivne Regional State Administrations

Zelenskyy signed presidential decrees No. 858/2023 and No. 857/2023.

Vadym Filashkin became the new head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration. Until 2015, he worked in management positions in law enforcement agencies. In 2016, he became the deputy chief of the main police department in the Donetsk region.

Since 2019, he has been the deputy head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.

Oleksandr Koval previously held the position of head of the Rivne District State Administration.

From February 2013 to April 2016, he worked as deputy head, then head of the Department of State Land Agency in Kostopil district of Rivne region.

In May 2016, he was appointed to the position of first deputy head of the Kostopil District State Administration.

Later, he headed the Kostopil District State Administration and was the first deputy mayor of the Kostopil City Council.
