On January 15, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy came to Bern, the capital of Switzerland, to meet with the country's leaders and participate in the Davos Forum.
What is known about Zelenskyy's visit to Switzerland
Zelenskyy noted that in Bern, he will talk with the heads of both chambers of the Swiss parliament, heads of parties and factions, and President Viola Amherd.
Then, he will go to the Davos Economic Forum to meet with the EU and NATO representatives, state leaders and big businesses.
The key topics of the talks, according to Zelenskyy:
return of children deported by Russia;
sanctions and the search for mechanisms for the frozen Russian assets use;
humanitarian demining;
financial support and reconstruction;
Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine.
Zelenskyy will also talk about the return of abducted children, sanctions and the search for mechanisms for using frozen Russian assets, cooperation on humanitarian demining, financial support and reconstruction of Ukraine.
World Economic Forum in Davos
From January 15 to 19, the World Economic Forum will be held in Davos, Switzerland. Volodymyr Zelenskyy will make a special address during the visit.
The general topic of the forum is "Restoration of trust". The program of the forum will consist of four interrelated priorities:
"Achieving security and cooperation in a divided world";
"Creating growth and jobs for a new era";
"Artificial intelligence as a driving force of the economy and society";
"Long-term strategy for climate, nature and energy".
On January 14, at Davos, the meeting participants of national security advisers and foreign policy advisers of the countries regarding the implementation of the Peace Formula discussed the second five points of the Ukrainian Peace Formula and the progress made in their implementation.
