On the Day of Diplomatic Service of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded the Order of Merit III grade to Olha Stefanyshyna, the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.

The President presented the award for a significant personal contribution to strengthening interstate cooperation, fruitful diplomatic activity and high professionalism.
Zelenskyy stressed that "this year, in the international arena, Ukraine has achieved things that seemed almost unattainable at the beginning of the year, and the main political result of the year is the start of negotiations on our country's membership in the European Union."
The President also awarded the Order of Merit II grade to the Deputy Foreign Minister, Mykola Tochytskyi, and the Order of Princess Olga III grade to the Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Svitlana Khachaturyan.
Zelenskyy outlined Ukraine's foreign policy goals for the next year
The President noted that the main political result of the year was the start of negotiations on Ukraine's membership in the European Union.
Zelenskyy named active cooperation with the European Union as one of his priorities, namely the development of a negotiation framework and the start of full integration with the EU in all areas.
Another priority is to strengthen defence support for Ukraine.
