Zelenskyy noted that he was not personally present at the summit supporting Ukraine in Paris. Still, Macron told him the day before that he would discuss specific new ideas for strengthening Ukraine.

"I was not present at the summit [where Macron made the announcement], but he stated that when he arrives in Ukraine, he will discuss new ideas for strengthening Ukraine and share information And then I'll be deep into the details and be able to share with you more specifically, the president said.

Meeting in Paris regarding support for Ukraine

On February 26, Macron gathered more than 20 heads of state and government of European countries in Paris to demonstrate unity to help Ukraine.

According to him, no consensus was reached at the meeting regarding the introduction of troops into Ukraine, but this topic cannot be ruled out.

At this stage, there is no consensus... to send troops to the scene of events, he noted, adding that "nothing can be ruled out. We will do everything we have to ensure that Russia does not win."

The French president noted that European officials agreed that they should be prepared for a possible attack by Russia in the coming years.

After the meeting, the Netherlands announced it would allocate 100 million euros ($108.47 million) to the Czech Republic's initiative to purchase ammunition for Ukraine.
