At the press conference within the forum "Ukraine. The year 2024" Zelenskyy answered the question about the holding of the Global Peace Summit.
The first summit, the inaugural one, I hope will take place in the spring, in Switzerland. We would like the second summit not to be on the European continent, but on some other continent.
The president added that at the first "peace summit", which is planned to be held in the spring, without the participation of Russia, "a plan will be developed, then the countries will technically deal with each of the crises that this war brought."
The president also noted that Ukraine does not want any formats of negotiations to be imposed on it. It is important that the initiative comes only from Ukraine.
I really don't want that after the elections in different countries of the world, and this is the year of different elections, a non-democratic country or a very democratic country will have its own initiative, its own initiative, which would not coincide with the interests of the country that is at war today.
