Environmental agreement for Ukraine: what is known

The international working group on the ecological consequences of the war developed an Environmental Agreement for Ukraine.

It was announced by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, during a briefing with members of the group in Kyiv.

On February 9, a significant event took place. The result of the activity of the created working group was the Environmental Agreement for Ukraine.

The head of the OP noted that the relevant document provides three key aspects.

The first is the recording of crimes committed and committed by Russia on the territory of Ukraine. The second is punishment. Undoubtedly, each of these facts will necessarily become the basis for future trials. And in the end, it will become the basis and evidence base for compensations and reparations. The third is recovery. Not just to restore as it was before, but to make it even better.

Yermak assured that this document "will be on the table of all world leaders very soon", will be the basis of discussions at all international platforms, will become the basis of concrete political decisions at the conference, which will be held immediately after the inaugural Peace Summit at the level of the leaders of the states.

On February 12, together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, the Environmental Document will be presented to all ambassadors of Ukraine in the world during a video conference. He emphasizeemphasisedernational work on its implementation will begin from this moment.

What is essential to know about the movie "Divia"

The teaser of the documentary film "Divia", which tells about the impact of the full-scale invasion of Russia on the Ukrainian environment, was released online.

The authors of the documentary film "Divia" intended to show on the screen a journey from the harmonious life of nature to the whirlwind of war, which burns the earth and all living things.

In the centre of the tape are ordinary people who are doing everything possible to measure the scale of this environmental damage, save animals and clear the land of explosive objects: environmentalists, sappers, body searchers and animal rights activists.

According to the latest reports, the film will take another year to complete its production.
