Zelenskyy: There is significant weapons shortage in Russia's army

According to Ukraine's president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Russia has problems with a shortage of weapons.  That's why Ukraine cannot pause in the war to give the enemy time to restore resources.

The Russian army faced a large-scale shortage of weapons

The head of state made such a statement during a briefing in Tallinn, Estonia, where he is on an official visit on January 11.

Journalists asked the president of Ukraine why everyone says that a pause in the war will only benefit Russia but not Ukraine.

According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a pause on the battlefield on the territory of Ukraine is not a pause in the war.

This does not mean that this is an end to the war, and it does not lead to a political dialogue with Russia or anyone else. This pause will only help the Russian Federation. Why? Because we understand volumes how much they produce today. We know how many drones and artillery they produce per day. And we see what they lack, and that they have a big deficit with drones and with artillery. A big deficit with missiles too.

Zelenskyy explained that it indicates severe problems in Russia's army

The Ukrainian leader explains that he does not consider it a coincidence that Russia is looking for weapons for itself in different parts of the world, begging for help from other regimes.

Today, the aggressor country does not have time to provide its troops with everything necessary.

This is also because Russian depots were empty after the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Then they came in full force and with a large amount of everything they had accumulated, and now... this pause — I say again — is not just a frozen conflict, it is just a pause that will help the aggressor. They don't have time.

In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy admitted that "the world also does not have time to fill Ukraine's warehouses." Despite this, the partner's aid still quite often arrives.
