On February 16, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit Germany and France for talks with German Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz and President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron.

At the same time, on February 17, Zelenskyy will speak on the main stage of the Munich Security Conference, and will also hold a number of bilateral meetings on its sidelines.

In particular, talks are planned with US Vice President Kamala Harris, Czech President Petr Pavel, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte and other leaders of states and big businesses, Office of Ukraine's President reports.

What is known about the Munich Security Conference

The 60th Munich Security Conference (MSC) will be held in Germany on February 16-18.

About 150 world politicians will discuss global threats, including armed conflicts, climate change and mass migration, terrorism, and cyber-attacks.

This year, a more significant presence of the countries of the Global South is expected at the conference. In addition to the leaders of the EU and the USA, the President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, the Prime Minister of Palestine, Mohammad Shtayyeh and the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, are expected to attend the event.
