In an interview with FOX News, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on US President Joe Biden and GOP leader Donald Trump to visit Ukraine and see "this tragedy" on the front lines with their own eyes.
Zelenskyy invited Biden and Trump to Ukraine
Zelenskyy said that he would be glad to see all the candidates for the US presidency and all the people who make decisions or can support them in Ukraine so they understand what the war in Ukraine means.
Zelenskyy was asked to comment on Trump's famous statement that he would end the war in 24 hours. The Ukrainian President still "cannot understand how" Trump could achieve this.
Ukraine's President said he would host the former US president on the front lines, where Trump would "tell me what he thinks. Maybe he has some ideas. I don't know."
What did Trump say about the war's end in Ukraine?
In March 2023, Donald Trump said that if elected for a second term, he would end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours.
He said he could end the war "very quickly" once elected President.
