Current situation on the front on April 2
Operational information as of 16:00 04/02/2026 regarding the Russian invasion was provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out 58 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, three of which were carried out using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units four times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia and Veterinarne, and three clashes are still ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy tried seven times to improve its position towards the settlements of Petropavlivka, Kurylivka, and Novoosinove. One clash is still ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled three attempts by the invaders to advance towards the settlements of Nadiya and Drobysheve. Two clashes are ongoing.
In the Slavyansk direction, one clash is ongoing in the Rai-Oleksandrivka area.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders carried out nine attacks near the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Kleban-Byk, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, and Novopavlivka. One battle is still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the invaders have tried 36 times to push our soldiers out of the occupied positions in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Muravka, Molodetske, Filiya and towards the settlements of Bilytske, Shevchenko, Novopidhorodne and Novopavlivka. Seven clashes are still ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked 18 times in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrivkagrad, Sichneve, Vorone, Krasnohirske and towards the settlements of Ivanivka, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Sosnivka, Stepove, Vyshneve, Verbove. Five clashes are currently ongoing. The Kolomyia residents were hit by an airstrike.
In the Hulyaipil direction, the Defense Forces successfully repelled 25 enemy attacks towards the settlements of Olenokostyantynivka, Pryluky, Varvarivka, Zaliznychne, Svyatopetrivka, Myrne, Zelene, Hulyaipilske, Charivne. Another 10 clashes are ongoing. Lyubitske was subjected to an enemy airstrike.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders 13 times in the areas of the settlements of Maly Shcherbaki, Shcherbaki, Stepnohirsk, Stepove and towards the settlements of Novodanylivka, Lukyanivske and Prymorske. The enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Omelnyk and Preobrazhenka. One clash is still ongoing.
In the Dnieper direction, one assault operation is underway in the direction of the Antonivskyi Bridge.
