According to local telegram channels, at 3:28 p.m., an air alert was announced in the region due to an alleged missile threat.
Enemy air defence tried to repulse the attack, but without success.
It is reported that the hit was recorded on Komunalna Street directly in Belgorod.
Later, it became known that the missile hit the boiler room of the "ZhBK-1" plant and the metalwork shop.
After that, a fire broke out, which they were trying to put out.
Around 15:53, information appeared that an air alert had also been announced in Shebekino.
The DIU chief announced an increase in the number of attacks on the Russian infrastructure
According to the chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU), Kyrylo Budanov, attacks by Ukrainian drones on Russian infrastructure may soon increase.
However, the DIU chief still does not confirm or deny Ukraine's involvement in drone attacks in Russia, saying that such operations are "quite possible."
He also emphasised that the Russian civilian population finally "sees the real picture (of the war — ed.)" is extremely important.
