A new satellite image of the Russian large landing ship "Novocherkassk" has appeared, which was blown up by the Ukrainian military.

Journalist Christian Tribert announced this on the X social network (Twitter).

On the satellite image released by the journalist, the remains of the "Novocherkask" have been seen after a missile attack by the Armed Forces.

Judging by the photo, they partially went underwater. Smoke is also visible above the remains of the ship.

Satellite photos of the port of Feodosia

On the first satellite images of the port of Feodosia in Crimea, you can see that not only the large amphibious assault ship "Novocherkassk" was destroyed on the night of December 26.

Radio Liberty's "Schemes" project received the photo from Planet Labs. They show that in addition to the large landing ship "Novocherkassk", another ship partially sank due to the impact (marked with a yellow rectangle in the video).

A picture from December 24 was used for comparison.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that at 02:30 on December 26, tactical aviation of the Air Force attacked with cruise missiles the large landing ship "Novocherkassk" of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in the area of occupied Feodosia and destroyed it.

Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ignat said there was an intense explosion after the impact, so the probability that "Novocherkassk" survived is extremely low. It is not yet known what exactly was on board — "Shaheds" or ammunition.
