The heroic event happened back in December 2023. The only fighter of the "Edelweiss" battalion holds the position, cold-bloodedly repelling the attack of ten invaders.
The Edelweiss soldier fought off 10 Russian invaders
A fighter of the 8th separate mountain assault battalion "Edelweiss" was able to restrain 10 enemies.
His feat was caught on video.
"F*ck, you're being held back by one person! One! Ten". This is not a quote from a pathetic action movie, but the very real words of an Orkish commander, who is throwing a tantrum at a radio station. And all because one fighter of the 8th separate mountain assault battalion restrains an influx of ten enemy attack aircraft.
The video clearly shows how a professional Ukrainian military man repels invaders with grenades and a machine gun.
We managed to intercept enemy radio communications. The commander is hysterical, telling the stormtroopers what to do. "Enter from the left...", "Crawl...", "Throw grenades...". He cannot understand how so much Russian "meat" cannot repel a position with one fighter. Of course, because the invaders have no idea what Ukrainians are capable of while defending their land.
That battle ended with dead and maimed Russian soldiers who were methodically destroyed by artillery and drones. Our fighter remained alive and well. He forced what was left of the enemy to flee, defending the position and waiting for reinforcements.
New successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Tauri direction
The news was shared by Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, commander of the "Tavria" OSUV.
According to him, on February 23, the Russian army carried out 33 air and 3 missile strikes, 99 kamikaze drone strikes, provoked 61 combat clashes and carried out 1,127 shellings, including 3 drops of chemical ammunition from UAVs.
Tarnavskyi notes that the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct defensive operations and carry out active actions in certain directions.
He also added that the total losses of the Russian army on this part of the front reached:
in manpower - 312 people,
in armaments and military equipment - 26 units, not including unmanned aerial vehicles.
