According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, he visited the combat positions of two brigades east of Ukraine on Mar. 13.

Syrskyi spoke about the situation in the east

According to Oleksandr Syrskyi, he worked in two brigades, where the situation gradually became more difficult and Russian invaders threatened to advance deep into Ukrainian territories.

After a detailed analysis and assessment of the situation, together with the headquarters commanders and officers, all necessary decisions were made regarding the reinforcement of the specified military units with reserves, ammunition, and electronic warfare equipment, which will further ensure the stability of our defence on this part of the front.

He also noted that the operational situation on the Eastern Front remains difficult.

What is important to understand is that the Russian army does not stop offensive actions, concentrating its efforts in Terny, Ivanivske, Berdychi, Tonenke, Verbove and Robotyne districts.

Russia is suffering considerable losses in the war against Ukraine

The AFU Commander-in-chief also notes that as a result of large-scale losses, the activity of the occupiers in other areas of the front has noticeably decreased.

This happened thanks to timely management decisions to strengthen the defense of this section of the front, timely replacement of units that lost their combat capability, as well as thanks to the courage and resilience of our soldiers, - emphasises Oleksandr Syrskyi.

Even though the Russian invaders continued their offensive, all settlements remained under the control of AFU soldiers.

With the Minister of Defence of Ukraine, state and departmental awards were presented to our service members, who distinguished themselves in battles with the Russian aggressor. At the same time, there are still enough issues that need to be resolved on the spot, so we continue our work. We will win! Glory to Ukraine!
