The Ukrainian military continues to liquidate the Russian military. The total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 339,850 soldiers.
What is known about the losses of the Russian army
According to the General Staff, the Defense Forces destroyed 1,030 Russian invaders during the day, and the following vehicles were destroyed:
tanks – 5655 (+19) units;
armoured fighting vehicles – 10,560 (+31) units;
artillery systems – 8,070 (+6) units;
MRLS - 919 units;
air defense means - 605 units;
aircraft – 324 units;
helicopters – 324 units;
UAVs of the operational-tactical level - 6154 (+18) units;
cruise missiles - 1586 units;
ships/boats - 22 units;
submarines - 1 unit;
automotive equipment and tank trucks - 10,636 (+13) units;
special equipment - 1168 (+6) units
What is the situation at the front?
In the area of responsibility of the OSTG "Tavria" unit in the Avdiivka direction, the defenders continue to restrain the enemy, who does not stop trying to surround Avdiivka. Ukrainian soldiers steadfastly hold the defense, inflicting significant losses on the enemy. The defense forces successfully repelled 49 enemy attacks in Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, south of Sieverne and Tonenke, Pervomaiske of the Donetsk region.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled five enemy attacks in Terny and Vesele in the Donetsk region and Makiivka in the Luhansk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, defenders repelled 13 enemy attacks in the Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka districts of the Donetsk region. Defence forces of Ukraine continue their assault south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, inflict losses on the enemy in personnel and equipment, and consolidate on the achieved boundaries.
In the Mariinka direction, the Defense Forces continued to hold back the enemy in the Mariinka and Novomykhailivka districts of the Donetsk region, where the defenders repelled 18 attacks.
In the direction of Shakhtarsk, Ukrainian soldiers repelled all enemy attacks southeast of Vugledar, Donetsk region.
In the area of responsibility of the OSTG "Khortytsia" in the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy attacks in the Synkivka and Petropavlivka districts of the Kharkiv region.
In the Zaporizhzhia area, the Defense Forces repelled three enemy attacks in the Robotyne region of the Zaporizhzhia region.
At the same time, in the Melitopol direction, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continued to actively inflict losses in personnel and equipment on the occupying troops, exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.
In the area of responsibility of the OSTG "Odesa" in the Kherson direction, Ukrainian soldiers are holding occupied positions on the left bank of the Dnipro, continuing to conduct counter-battery combat and inflicting fire damage on the enemy's rear.
The operational situation remains unchanged in the OSTG "North" area of responsibility in the Volyn and Polisia directions.
In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the Russians maintain a military presence in the border areas and carry out active diversionary activities to prevent the transfer of Ukrainian troops to threatening directions.
