AFU General Tarnavskyi reports Russia aggravates its attacks in Tavria's direction

The Russian invaders became more active in Tavria's direction. On January 26, Russia's army is conducting more offensive and assault actions.

What is happening in Tavria's direction?

According to the OSTG "Tavria" commander, Gen Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, the Russian army carried out ten airstrikes, performed 50 combat engagements and fired 624 artillery shells.

Our defenders firmly hold the defense and carry out active actions in the specified directions, — emphasises Oleksandr Tarnavskyi.

According to him, the total losses of the Russian occupiers on January 25 amounted to 480 personnel and 23 military equipment units, not including UAV. In particular, two tanks, 7 APVs, six artillery systems, five vehicles and three special equipment units.

In addition, it is emphasised that our defenders managed to destroy two ammunition depots of the Russian army.

161 UAVs of various types were neutralised or destroyed. Together, we will win! Glory to Ukraine! — emphasises Oleksandr Tarnavskyi.

Losses of the Russian army as of January 26:

  • personnel — about 380 600 (+990) people were liquidated;

  • tanks — 6 265 (+8) units;

  • armoured personnel vehicles — 11,637 (+16) units;

  • artillery systems — 9 082 (+15) units;

  • MRLS — 972 units;

  • anti-aircraft warfare systems — 660 units;

  • aircraft — 331 units;

  • helicopters — 324 units;

  • UAV of operational-tactical level — 7033 units;

  • cruise missiles — 1,845 (+1) units;

  • warships/boats — 23 units;

  • submarines — 1 unit;

  • vehicles and fuel tanks — 12 064 (+20) units;

  • special equipment — 1 425 (+5) units.
