During the night and morning of January 23, Russian terrorists fired 41 missiles at peaceful cities in Ukraine. One of them was destroyed by the soldiers with a Browning machine gun.

Russian missile attack on Ukraine on January 23: The Air Force reported its results
On the night of January 23, 2024, the Russian invaders launched a combined missile attack on Ukraine, using cruise, ballistic, aviation and anti-aircraft guided missiles.
A total of 41 enemy targets were recorded during the night, most of the launched missiles of the types that attack along a ballistic trajectory:
4 S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the Belgorod region — in the direction of Kharkiv Oblast;
15 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles from six Tu-95MS strategic bombers (launch area — Russian city of Engels);
8 Kh-22 missiles from Tu-22M3 bombers from Bryansk and Oryol regions — in the direction of Kharkiv Oblast and Sumy Oblast;
12 "Iskander-M" ballistic missiles (launch area — Belgorod and Voronezh regions)
2 Kh-59 guided air missiles from two Su-34 aircraft (launch area — Belgorod Region, Russia).
During the combat work by the Air Force and the AFU air defence forces, the following enemy targets were destroyed:
15 X-101/X-555/X-55 cruise missiles;
5 Iskander-M ballistic missiles
One Kh-59 guided air missile.
Not all enemy missiles that attacked on a ballistic trajectory reached their targets.
