On the night of March 15, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with 27 Shaheds. They were all destroyed by Ukrainian air defense forces.

The Air Force announced the details of the Russian night attack

It is noted that the Russians struck 7 S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles in the Kharkiv region and Donetsk Oblast, one Kh-59 air-guided missile in the Poltava region, and 27 "Shahed" type UAVs. Primorsko-Akhtarsk and the Kursk region of Russia became the regions where drone launches were made.

Anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force and Ground Forces, mobile fire groups of the Defence Forces of Ukraine, and EW units were involved in repelling the air attack.

As a result of combat operations, 27 "Shaheds" were shot down within Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Kherson, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, and Kyiv regions.

What is known about the Russian attack on Ukraine on March 15

On the night of March 15, the Russians attacked the Khmelnytskyi region with "Shaheds". In the statement of the Khmelnytskyi RMA, it is stated that the air defence forces shot down two unmanned aerial vehicles of the "Shahed" type, and no casualties or damage were recorded.

Also, at night, the enemy attacked the Kyiv region with drones. Anti-aircraft defense forces and means were working in the Kyiv region due to another attack by the Russian occupiers.
