Air Force: Ukrainian drones can fly deep into Russian territory due to lack of air defence in Russia

Ukrainian drones fly into the territory of Russia, even to Moscow, because the enemy does not have enough anti-aircraft defence. That is why it is impossible to protect the entire territory of the aggressor country.

How Ukrainian drones fly to Moscow

It is impossible to cover all of Russia; there are not enough means to densely saturate such an area with air defence. Therefore, the enemy uses it in areas it considers threatening to itself. And, of course, he said they move air defence from other regions, where there is no such need for them, and strengthen the border regions with Ukraine, says the Air Force speaker Yurii Ignat.

According to him, Russia primarily concentrates its air defence systems on the contact line.

Without air defence, it will be tough for the Russian troops because they may be attacked by air, including by our aviation. Therefore, they will cover the front line — that's understandable. They will also cover Crimea. In other cities, where something does reach them, they have means of cover. But, as they say, the spokesman added, "in the fields", there is no air defence there.

According to Ignat, Russia uses the same tactics when striking Ukraine — laying routes where there is not enough air defence equipment.

The Russian army is actively preparing for a new missile attack on Ukraine

A new missile-drone attack by Russia across Ukraine is possible in a short period.

The OC "South" joint press centre chief, Natalia Humenyuk, stated this on the air of the Yedyni Novyni telethon.

The exact date of the massive missile attack is unknown, most likely, it is also unknown to the Russians themselves, who will carry it out. But they are preparing and can use such an attack.

According to her, the activity of the cargo aircraft observed, which performed a flight on the Tehran-Moscow route, may indicate the transportation of specific military cargo both in the form of ready-made drone products and in the form of spare parts that will be used for their manufacture on the territory of Russia.

According to Humenyuk, the very fact of such activity usually precedes intensified attacks with the use of a larger number of Shaheds.

The OC "South" joint press centre chief informed that the enemy continues to accumulate a certain resource.

Russia needs at least 10 days to prepare a massive attack.

According to Humenyuk, the interval between Russian attacks is also affected by our activity, which takes place in the direction of enemy airfields, places where personnel and equipment are deployed.

Humenyuk emphasised that the activity of the Armed Forces, in particular, the destruction of the "Caesar Kunikov" large landing ship, will affect the enemy's plans, and they may change.

The spokeswoman added that even when there is a pause between massive missile attacks, the enemy still delivers pinpoint missile strikes.
