The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) notes that the detainee is a resident, a representative of the Zaporizhia "club of military reconstruction", which unites connoisseurs of the recreation of historical events, including military battles.

In mid-October 2023, he was recruited by the FSB to carry out subversive activities in the city.

The detainee chose the pseudonym "Palestinian" and created an anonymous chat in the messenger. He formed his group of informants there, including four residents and his relatives.

The group scouted the bases of the Defense Forces on the territory of Zaporizhzhia and transmitted the geolocations of residential infrastructure and industrial facilities.

What is the deadline for the adjuster of missile strikes

The SSU notes that firearms, as well as computer equipment and mobile phones with evidence of criminal activities, were found in the residences of the detained FSB agent and his accomplices during the searches.

Prohibited Soviet and pro-Kremlin symbols were also found on the persons involved.

The "Palestinian" was informed of suspicion under Chapter 2 of Art. 28, Chapter 2 of Art. One hundred eleven of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed by a group of persons under martial law by a prior conspiracy), and a preventive measure was chosen - detention.

He faces life imprisonment.
