An ex-policeman from the Kharkiv Region was sentenced to 15 years: details

State Bureau of Investigation of Ukraine
Sentenced ex-cop

According to the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) materials, another traitor will spend 15 years in prison. We are talking about an ex-policeman from Izyum who quisled and served the occupiers during his service in the "people's militia".

The traitor received 15 years in prison for serving the occupiers

Based on the SBI investigation materials, the court sentenced a former law enforcement officer from the city of Izyum in the Kharkiv region to 15 years in prison with the confiscation of all property and the deprivation of his special rank.

The SBI reported this on Facebook.

After the occupation of the city, the traitor got a job in the so-called "people's militia". He helped the invaders patrol the streets, identified patriotic Ukrainians, and actively recruited his former colleagues to join the enemy. After the release of Izyum, the traitor remained and decided to hide.

The SBI noted that in October 2022, the collaborator stepped on an anti-personnel mine planted by the Russians. As a result of the explosion, the man received a traumatic amputation of his foot.

Employees of the State Security Bureau detained the ex-law enforcement officer together with police officers.

What is known about the FSB agent network

The counter-intelligence of the Security Service neutralized the extensive agent network of the FSB. As a result of the special operation, 5 Russian agents who were operating in Odesa, Zaporizhia and Donetsk regions were simultaneously detained.

The intruders scouted the places of the greatest concentration of personnel and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the front-line territories.

It is reported that the participants tried to find ammunition and fuel depots of the Defense Forces, and they were also interested in the geolocations and peculiarities of the work of industrial facilities where heavy weapons of the Ukrainian troops are repaired.

In addition, henchmen of the occupiers gathered information about the consequences of enemy airstrikes and helped to correct new missile attacks by the Russians.
