Oil depot burns in occupied Donetsk after attack — photo

On the evening of 15 December, explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Donetsk. A fire broke out at a local oil depot.

The local Telegram channels and Russian propagandists spread photos of the fire.

It is noted that the explosions occurred in the Budyonov district of the city.

The situation in Donetsk region

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian troops continue to repel Russian attacks in the Donetsk region.

In the Liman sector, Ukrainian defence forces repelled five hostile attacks east of Terny, Yampolivka in the Donetsk region and Makiivka in the Luhansk region.

Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 15 attacks in the Bakhmut sector and 29 in the Avdiivka sector.

In the Maryinsky direction, the Defense Forces repelled 12 attacks in the districts of Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, and Novomykhailivka. On the Shakhtarsky direction, two enemy attacks were repulsed in the Staromayorsky district of the Donetsk region.

On 6 December, a large-scale fire was reported in Donetsk, but it is not known what exactly was burning.
