December continues to impress Kyiv with warmth. On December 26, a record average daily air temperature was recorded in the capital.

On December 26, experts at the Central Geophysical Observatory weather station named after Boris Sreznevsky in the capital recorded an average daily air temperature of +5.9°С.
This is 0.1°C higher than in 2015. According to the climatic norm, this temperature corresponds to the end of March.
New Year Weather in Ukraine
Forecaster Natalka Didenko indicates that no serious precipitation is expected in the coming days.
On December 28, the air temperature will drop slightly: at night in the western regions, it will be from -1 to -5 degrees, and the rest of the territory will fall from - 2 to +1.
In the afternoon on Thursday, a temperature from +1 to +4 degrees is expected in the south, and the western part is expected to have a temperature from +4 to +9 degrees.
In Kyiv, on December 28, there will be no significant precipitation. It is going to be windy and cold. At night, it is close to zero; during the day, it is from +2 to +4 degrees.
On December 31, small precipitation will run over the northern part of Ukraine, and on January 1, precipitation will increase.
A more significant cooling is expected on January 4-5.
