Armed Forces of Ukraine liquidated 23 occupiers in Crimea

During the large-scale explosion in Crimea on January 4, 23 soldiers of the occupation army of Russia were eliminated. It became known that 9 of them were special forces, 5 were high-ranking officers.

A Russian colonel was killed in yesterday's explosions in Crimea. The occupiers confirmed the deaths of 23 occupiers, including five officers.

Military facilities in the Saksky district and near Sevastopol were damaged. 23 servicemen were killed at the two facilities, one of the propaganda Telegram channels quoted Krymskiy Veter source.

In particular, among those killed were 5 high-ranking officers of the Russian Armed Forces and at least 9 special forces officers.

In addition, local Telegram channels report that the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces and First Deputy Minister of Defence, General Valery Gerasimov, may be among those killed on 4 January.

The death of Gerasimov has not been confirmed by Russian authorities.

Ukrainian army neutralised Russian air defense coordination point in Crimea

On 4 January, the Ukrainian Air Force struck a command post near Yevpatoriya, which was responsible for a secure channel of communication with the Kremlin and the coordination of air defence throughout the peninsula.

Our agents conducted a preliminary reconnaissance of the military communications centre near Yevpatoriya, which came under rocket fire yesterday, and passed the information to the Ukrainian defence forces’ headquarters. The agents report the following information: the command post responsible for a secure communication channel with the Kremlin and coordination of air defence of the entire peninsula came under fire. A deep bunker was also hit. As a result, there were several killed occupiers. It is safe to say that Colonel Ismagilov will never again defile Ukrainian soil with his presence.
