Why Xi Jinping decided to support Biden's position
As you know, the Chinese and American presidents recently held a meeting on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit.
Importantly, this was their first face-to-face meeting in a year and Xi's first visit to the US in four years.
According to the head of the White House, during the talks with the President of the People's Republic of China, they had time to discuss the issue of Russia's war against Ukraine and the situation in Gaza.
Many analysts assume that Biden managed to sway Xi to the side of the United States regarding supporting Ukraine and containing Russia.
