Intelligence analysts of the Ministry of Defence of Great Britain note that the occupying army of the Russian Federation continues its offensive on several areas of the front in Ukraine.

How British intelligence evaluates the results of the offensive of the Russian army in Ukraine

British intelligence analysts warn that the situation for the Ukrainian military will remain challenging in the coming weeks.

According to British Ministry of Defense intelligence, the occupation army of the Russian Federation is concentrating its offensive efforts west of Avdiivka and Maryinka in the Donetsk region.

However, according to British intelligence, the number of reported enemy attacks each week has decreased by 13% since the end of February.

At the same time, in February, the average number of attacks by occupiers in these directions during the week reached 600.

During February, the Russian army captured Avdiivka and several settlements near it.

However, British intelligence adds that since then, the advance of the Russian Federation's occupation army in this direction has slowed down.

It is highly likely that the overall situation will be challenging for Ukrainian forces in coming weeks with Russia continuing to regenerate forces and carry out attacks on priority axes, British Ministry of Defence intelligence predicts.

What the Ukrainian military says

According to the OSTG "Tavria" Commander, Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, it has been intensive in this direction during the last day.

56 combat clashes took place over the past day. The Russian aggressor carried out 26 airstrikes, carried out 866 shellings and 80 kamikaze drone strikes, Tarnavskyi noted.

According to his information, during the day, the losses of the occupiers from the Russian army amounted to:

  • personnel - 408 people (killed and wounded; also, one occupier was captured);

  • in armaments and military equipment — 32 units (one tank, 9 APVs, two artillery systems, two LNG/AGS, 17 vehicles and one unit of special equipment);

  • 319 UAVs of various types were neutralised.

The Ukrainian defence forces also destroyed one ammunition depot and two enemy dugouts.
