According to British intelligence, Russian invaders are finding it difficult to counteract the FPV drones of Ukrainian soldiers in Kherson region, so the Armed Forces of Ukraine are able to destroy enemy equipment extremely effectively.

FPV drones give the Ukrainian Armed Forces an advantage on the left bank of the Dnipro

The British Ministry of Defence has decided to analyse the impact of FPV drones on the situation on the left bank of the Kherson region.

In addition, the ministry explained why it is actually difficult for the Russian army to counter them.

According to British intelligence, Ukrainian soldiers use such drones together with artillery to destroy the equipment of the Russian occupation forces.

Russian military commanders have recently complained that 90% of Russian military equipment in the area of the village of Krynky, Kherson region, was destroyed.

Russia's inability to counter the FPV UAVs is likely due to the lack of Russian electronic warfare capabilities in the area," the British Ministry of Defence explained.

Zelenskyy promises Ukraine will produce one million drones in 2024

During his final press conference, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is ready to make a real breakthrough in drone production.

According to him, we are talking about a million Ukrainian drones that will be produced this year.

I am also positive about increasing the production of drones and special units. There should be a governance structure for managing drones. Not a Soviet one, but a very simple one that can be used quickly.”

It has also recently become known that Ukraine has launched mass production of analogues of Iranian Shahed kamikaze drones.

In early December, the Ministry of Defence completed testing of tactical radio interference devices for barrage munitions and FPV drones developed by domestic enterprises.
