The partisans blew up a train in Melitopol

In the return direction, the train transported ore, grain and damaged equipment from the temporarily occupied territories.

During the explosion, the railway and a locomotive with wagons were damaged.

The explosion happened at 8 o'clock in the morning right under the noses of the Russian FSB officers. Currently, the occupiers have surrounded the place of the explosion and are searching the surrounding area, the press service adds.

The enemy is trying to hide the fact of sabotage while the occupiers are unsuccessfully searching for the partisans. FSB employees, police traitors, dog trainers and crime laboratory experts were involved in the search.

Note that in 2023 this is already the eleventh successful sabotage on the railway. The Resistance Movement successfully blew up the previous train on October 13. The current sabotage is far from the last, because in the Russian logistics model, the railway plays a key role, the CNR adds.

What is the situation in Melitopol

Melitopol of the Zaporizhzhia region was occupied by Russian troops almost immediately during the large-scale invasion of the territory of Ukraine in February 2022.

At this time, the city had a well-developed partisan movement, the members of which constantly arranged "bavovna" in the city and eliminated the collaborators despite the announced "hunt".

An unexpected and successful attack occurred on December 1, 2023 at noon at the entrance to temporarily occupied Melitopol.

The action of revenge against the enemies occurred at 115 Bohdan Khmelnytskyy Avenue, where the Moscow occupiers liked to stop for a "smoking break".

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) and brave Ukrainian partisans remind us: smoking kills, the DIU relollected.

According to the DIU, the Russian occupation administration in Melitopol is trying to hide the consequences of the attack due to fear of the Kremlin's special services.
