The President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, called for the expansion of possible formats of aid, including the option of considering the introduction of troops.
Czechia is not against the troop deployment to Ukraine
Pavel emphasised that we are not talking about the full introduction of troops into Ukraine's territory but rather about new forms of assistance, not combat interaction.
He emphasised that his options are identical to conducting Ukrainian military exercises on the territory of partner countries.
According to him, conducting exercises on Ukraine's territory does not violate international law.
Pavel also added that what form of help they choose depends on them.
Western analysts believe in Ukraine's ability to win
According to US Army War College research professor John Denny in an article for Defense One, Ukraine can turn the situation around in the criminal war unleashed by Russia if it can hold out until next winter.
In his opinion, the most vivid evidence that a more protracted war can favour Ukraine is the return of defence production capacities to the USA.
However, Dani emphasised that currently, Russia will benefit from transferring its economy to military lines, which Western countries will probably not do.
He added that Ukraine is currently in a challenging situation.
