The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) chief, Lieut Gen Kyrylo Budanov, expects France to soon hand over its Mirage 2000 hypersonic fighters to Ukraine for the war against the Russian Federation.
Ukraine can get Mirage 2000 fighters
According to the DIU chief, Ukrainian pilots can master the French Mirage 2000 multi-purpose fighters quickly.
Kyrylo Budanov notes that our pilots today are among the most highly qualified in the world, because they have real combat experience.
In addition, the head of Ukrainian intelligence reminded that the aviation of Ukraine is at war with the Russian air fleet, which has 300 aircraft.
Budanov assessed the impact of French aid on the Russian-Ukrainian war
The DIU chief expressed his sincere gratitude to the people and government of France.
He underlines that all types of French weapons provided have already shown a significant result at the front.
According to Kirill Budanov, CAESAR artillery systems have proven themselves well, as have Scalp-EG missiles.
He confirmed that they had demonstrated excellent performance and effectiveness on the battlefield.
Despite this, currently the soldiers of the Armed Forces need more SAMP/T-Mamba anti-aircraft missile systems.
