The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) chief, Lieut Gen Kyrylo Budanov, expects France to soon hand over its Mirage 2000 hypersonic fighters to Ukraine for the war against the Russian Federation.

According to the DIU chief, Ukrainian pilots can master the French Mirage 2000 multi-purpose fighters quickly.
Kyrylo Budanov notes that our pilots today are among the most highly qualified in the world, because they have real combat experience.
No one has ever encountered Russian fourth-generation fighters in the sky, except for Ukrainian pilots. So our pilots will be able to master this technique with ease.

In addition, the head of Ukrainian intelligence reminded that the aviation of Ukraine is at war with the Russian air fleet, which has 300 aircraft.
Therefore, we need help, and I hope that the French Republic will provide us with these aircraft (Mirage 2000 hypersonic fighters — ed.) — Kyrylo Budanov emphasised.

According to Kirill Budanov, CAESAR artillery systems have proven themselves well, as have Scalp-EG missiles.
