According to the chief of Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU), Gen Kyrylo Budanov, drone attacks on Russian infrastructure may increase.

Ukraine's attacks on the Russian territory will not stop

The DIU chief notes that Ukrainian forces manage to hold their positions in the air on the front line.

According to Kyrylo Budanov, the soldiers of the Russian Federation constantly learn from their combat experience. Currently, there is a noticeable trend towards even greater use of unmanned aerial vehicles on and above the battlefields of Ukraine.

We are more or less equal with the UAV systems use, he explained.

In addition, the Ukrainian military intelligence chief promised that drone attacks on Russian infrastructure may increase.

Despite this, Kyrylo Budanov neither confirmed nor denied Ukraine's involvement in drone attacks in Russia, saying that such operations are "quite possible."

Hypothetically, there is a plan by which all this happens. And I believe that this plan includes all the main objects of critical infrastructure and objects of the military infrastructure of the Russian Federation, — emphasized the DIU chief.

In addition to what is essential to understand, the Russian civilian population is finally "seeing the real picture (of war — ed.)".

They see burning oil depots, destroyed buildings of plants and factories... All this is beneficial, — explained Kyrylo Budanov.

When the offensive of the Russian army end

The DIU chief emphasises that the offensive operation of the aggressor country, which began in November 2023, is still ongoing.

Despite this, the enemy could not achieve any significant success.

Their offensive will continue. Somewhere in the beginning of spring, it will run out. [...] Now it's the enemy's turn. It will end, and, I think, ours will begin, — Budanov voiced his forecast.
