At 3:44 p.m., an air alert was announced in Sevastopol, and sea and land transport was suspended. Traffic on the Crimean Bridge was also blocked.
Subsequently, the so-called "governor" of Sevastopol, Razvozhaev, stated that the smoke in Sevastopol Bay is an alleged means of camouflage used by the Russian military.
A smoke screen was also fixed in the port of Feodosia.
According to Suspilny, explosions were heard in the Yevpatoriya district of Crimea.
Krym. Realii reports that local chat rooms complain that the air raid sirens are challenging to hear.
Later, Russian Telegram channels said that the explosions were allegedly the work of air defence. At 4:06 p.m., an air raid alert was sounded.
Attacks on objects in Crimea
According to the monitoring group "Institute of Black Sea Strategic Studies" and the editors of BlackSeaNews, in 2023, the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out at least 184 attacks on Crimea.
The use of drones and missiles against Russian military facilities on the territory of occupied Crimea and against ships of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation in the Black Sea was taken into account.
During the year, at least 45 attacks were recorded in Sevastopol, at least 23 on Russian ships in the Black Sea, at least 33 in the west of the peninsula, at least 21 in the Dzhankoy district, and at least 15 in the Feodosia region.
At least four attacks were carried out on the Crimean Bridge in 2023.
The most significant explosions in Crimea occurred in September — 31 attacks, 30 in August, 21 in July, 18 in June and October.
