He noted that France is developing kamikaze drones. Now the development is in the experimental phase.

In the coming weeks, Ukraine will be one of the first to receive these drones. It also presents an opportunity for combat trials of this new generation of equipment, said French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu.

The minister added that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, France has trained 10,000 Ukrainian fighters. According to him, in 2024 another 7,000 to 9,000 military personnel will undergo training.

Aid to France

Recently, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi visited France and signed an agreement on security guarantees with President Emmanuel Macron.

Later, Zelensky announced that Ukraine will receive a new package of military aid from France. It will include artillery shells, Caesar self-propelled artillery systems and additional air defense reinforcement.
